Terri McCormick's Honesty Tour

This is why I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives. I give my word, that I will work hard every day to serve you the people of the 8th Congressional District.

The recent indictments, convictions and the passing of large sums of money for political favors has shaken voter confidence in the political process.

Earning the trust of the people in NE Wisconsin is going to take a lot of straight talk. That is why we need a spotlight on the issues. We need to restore honesty and integrity in government. I’m taking the congressional campaign directly to you, the people, in “The Honesty Tour!”

Honesty and integrity as defined in the Webster dictionary is the firm adherence to a code of moral values. It is an incorruptibility…

My core beliefs and values are equal opportunities, equal justice under the law, and competition and access to markets – which all create the rungs on the ladder for all Americans, like you to achieve your hopes and dreams for the future.

I have earned a reputation as a “reformer.” The 2002 McCormick Health Care Model and the 2003/04 Blueprint for Change and Jobs Growth have both been used time and again as state and national models by the Small Business Administration in Washington and the WI State Legislature.

I believe strongly in a citizen lead government.

That is why my experience as a former small business owner, entrepreneur, teacher, and founder of the WI Charter School Movement, has made me a more effective legislator and will help me to serve you in the United States Congress.

It is my sincere commitment to improve the lives of the families in NE Wisconsin. This is why I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives. I give my word, that I will work hard every day to serve you the people of the 8th Congressional District.
