The McCormick for Congress privacy policy reflects my strong commitment to protecting your online privacy and any information you choose to share with us. 

How we use the information you provide

When you volunteer at McCormick for Congress, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, email address and/or IM address.. We use the information you provide to send you news and information about Terri McCormick and her campaign. We will not sell this information to any third party.

Under State Election law, we are required to make periodic filings that provide the Federal Election Commission with information on each contributor: name, address, amount of contribution, date of contribution, employer and occupation. If you make an online contribution, we also ask for your credit card number and its expiration date.
Every precaution must be taken to protect children online. We ask children 13 and under not to share any information with this Web site. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children 13 and under.

How we protect your information

We take great care to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Our server is located in a locked and secure environment. We use certain common tools and techniques in an effort to protect against unauthorized access to our systems.
We also work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission via the Site (when you make a donation or register for our email list) by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Access to your information is granted only to you and authorized staff.
